7-26 - The rain held off Saturday Afternoon so that all of the All-Star Festivities could take place at Jerry Uht Park. Despite the opressive heat, the Glenwood lumber arrived at Jerry Uht Park beginning with an All-Dziomba final in the 2010 Home Run Derby. Jon Dziomba defeated older brother Josh 3-2 in a tie breaker final round.

The Brabender Division (TESCO, Buells Corners, Harrington, and Rambler 9) defeated the Ainsworth Division (Butera's Towing, Panthers, Sluggers, Grice Builders, and Iadeluca) 11-2 in a 20 hit combined nine inning effort. Matt Palisin (TESCO) earned the victory with two shutout innings and 2 Ks, backed by three runs scored in the bottom of the first. Jon Dziomba continued to swing a hot bat, earning the MVP award for his two hits, a double and triple, and two RBI. Brother Josh chipped in three singles and a pair of RBIs, and Joe Lauria (Rambler 9) slugged two hits and plated a pair of runners. Ian Beezub led the Ainsworth charge with a pair of hits and two runs scored.

7-24 - The Rambler 9 overwhelmed Buells Corners 8-1 Friday Evening at Ainsworth on the strength of Jake Perez's complete game two hit gem. Phil Sorenson highlighted the four run Rambler fourth with two run double, and teammate Keith Blazek chipped in a two run single in the seventh. Matt Adamczyk led the Rambler offense with a four hit performance and crossed home plate twice.

Harrington slammed Iadeluca 11-2 at Brabender Friday behind Matt Gancinski's complete game three hitter. Nick Jaraczewski slammed three hits and plated a trio of Laundrymen to lead the Harrington charge, and teammate Geoff Flowers added a two run safty in the fifth frame. Chris Wright and Ricky Fresch each plated a run for Iadeluca who falls to 2-20 on the season. The Laundrymen end the day a half game behind the Ramblers for the sixth and final playoff berth.

7-23 - Pitchers ruled the day Thursday evening with two games on the GBL slate. Andy Wallen tossed a complete game three hitter at Ainsworth to lead the Panthers past TESCO 1-0. With Mike Ladesik standing on third base Matt Luthringer slammed a hard grounder to left center to plate Ladesik for the lone run. Greg Radwan endured the hard luck loss, also tossing a complete game two hitter, and striking out seven Panthers.

At Brabender Butera's Brian Gunnell outlasted Buell's Edwin Almonte in an eight inning dog fight, with Butera's coming out on top 3-2. Matt LaPorte plated the go ahead run in the eigth for a walk off victory. Gunnell fanned ten Bulls in the complete game effort. Edwin Almonte also tossed a complete game, and teammate John Mang plated both Buells runs.

7-22 - Iadeluca Chiropratic edged The Sluggers Wednesday Evening at Ainsworth 2-1 to send the Sluggers into a two way tie for fourth place in the GBL standings. Iadeluca jumped on the Sluggers right away with a pair of runs in the first and Chris Wright held on for the complete game victory. Matt Heslop also tossed a complete game, and only surrendered the two runs in the first inning, but that was all Wright needed to lead the Chiropractors past the Sluggers for their second win of the season.

7-21 - The Rambler 9 downed Grice Builders 6-1 Tuesday Evening at Ainsworth to take a half game lead over Harrington for the sixth and final playoff spot. Ryan Bihler started the Rambler surge with an RBI two bagger and Joe Lauria continued the surge with a two run single in the three run Rambler sixth. Tyler DeCrapio authored a complete game six hitter and fanned five Builders along the way. Conor Connell plated the lone Grice tally in the fourth inning.

The Panthers surged past Harrington Tuesday at the Bender 9-4 to solidify thier grasp on third place in the standings. Bryan Colish and Steve Swavey each plated a pair of runs for the Jungle Cats, with Colish knocking a double to key the six run fifth inning. The Kubeja Brothers, Paul and Eric, shared the duties on the hill and combined for a six hit, four run performance, with younger brother Eric earning the win. Alex Merkley led the Laundrymen's counter attack with two RBIs.

7-19 - It was a busy day in Glenwood action Sunday with four games on the slate. At Ainsworth, The Rambler 9 surged past Sluggers Sports Bar 5-3 to move into a two way tie with Harrington for the sixth and final playoff spot with a week of regular season left. Tyler Fisher tossed five and two thirds and fanned five Sluggers to earn the win, while teammate Ryan Bihler slammed three hits and plated a pair of runners. Grant Smith slammed to two run dinger in a losing effort.

The Panthers pounced on iadeluca 9-2 in the second Ainsworth game of the day behind Robert Alfieri's six inning four hitter. Brian Colish ripped a grand slam in the second inning and Matt Luthringer plated a pair of runs to pace the Panthers attack. Jordan Hibbard fanned six Panthers in six innings, but saddled the loss. The Panthers end the day in sole possessions of third place, while Iadeluca falls to 1-19.

At Jamestown Jammers Stadium TESCO edged Butera's 4-3 in a seven inning nail biter. Down a run in the bottom of the seventh, TESCO's Jon Roncolato singled and advanced on Matt Palisin's sac bunt. Kyle Harpster stroked an infield single and set the table for Shaine Patsilevas's RBI single to left. Lee Rohan grounded the the second baseman but the throw trickled past the first baseman with Harpster crossing the plate for the winning run. TESCO's Ray DeVaul duelled Ricky Carlson, both tossing complete games, but DeVaul emerged the victor punching out four batters in seven innings. Patsilevas paced the TESCO charge with three hits, as did Butera's Brian Gunnell with three safties of his own.

Harrington won the second game at Jammer's Stadium 9-6 in an unreported game.

7-18 - In an exact reversal of the first game between the two teams, TESCO edged the Panthers 2-1 to take a full game lead in the GBL standings. TESCO's Matt Palisin battled Panther Dave Koerbel for nine innings with the pair striking out nine and thirteen respecively, but Palisin held on for the victory this matchup. With the bases loaded in the ninth Jon Roncolato lifted a sac fly to right field to push across Lee Rohan for the walkoff. Palisin and Koerbel will battle again on Saturday as the All-Star Game starters.

In the second game at Ainsworth the Slugger's Joe Frey dueled Buell's Edwin Almonte, with Frey emerging victorious by a score of 3-2. Frey punched out six Buells Batters and scattered six hits, as did Almonte. Matt Heslop stroked an RBI single in the third to tie the game at 2 each, and a double steal resulted in the wining run later in the frame. Sluggers moves into sole possession of third place with the win, and Buells hangs onto the fifth spot with a 11-9 mark.

The Rambler 9 blanked Iadeluca 6-0 in the nightcap at Ainsworth behind Mark Pompeani's five inning, four strikeout victory. Matt Adamczyk lifted two sacrifice flies to lead the Nine's attack, with Joe Lauria and Jake Perez each chipping in a RBI double each. Tyler Fisher knocked in a run with a single in the seventh inning for good measure. The Rambler 9 ascend to 7-10 on the year.

In an unreported game, Harrington defeated Grice Builders 6-2 on Friday Night at Ainsworth.

7-16 - Buells Corners blanked Iadeluca at Ainsworth Thursday 4-0 behind Brian Suraf and Travis Butcher's combined one hitter. Suraf tossed five and struck out four, and Butcher added four in two innings work. Butcher and Ryan Schreiber paced the Buell's offense with three and two hits respectively. Schreiber plated a run with a first inning safty and Butcher scored twice.

Sluggers pounded TESCO 9-3 at Brabender Field Thursday behind Matt Heslop's complete game five hitter, and Steve Miller brought the heavy lumber pounding out three hits including a bases loaded triple to lead the Slugger charge. Joe Frey added two RBI with a fifth inning single. TESCO rode a two game slide to 11-6, while the Sluggers up their record to 10-7.

7-15 - Butera's Towing held tightly onto first place with a 5-4 white knuckle victory over The Panthers at Brabender Wednesday Evening. Brian Gunnell flipped all seven innings and de-clawed nine Panthers. Gunnell also drew a bases loaded walk in the seventh frame for the victory. Jon Messina knocked home two runs and Matt LaPorte tied the game with an RBI single in the seventh. Andy Wallen tossed all seven for the Panthers and struck out five batters, but was handed the tough loss.

The Rambler 9 edged Harrington 6-5 at Ainsworth Wednesday behind Tyler Fisher's bases clearing double in the fourth. Tyler DeCrapio tossed all seven for the win and struck out six Laundrymen, scattering seven hits in the complete game gem. Matt Gnacinski stroked two RBIs and J.B. Britton dented the Roosevelt School wall with a solo homer in the fifth to lead the Laundrymen charge, but DeCrapio held on for the gutsy win to propel the Niners to a 6 & 10 record. The Laundrymen fall to 7 & 10.

7-14 - Buells Corners edged TESCO 5-4 behind Ryan Schreiber's complete effort on the hill. Schreiber tossed seven innings, scattered six hits and struck out four TESCO batters. Buells took advantage of a pair of errors and a hit batsman in the five run fourth inning, and Jon McCune led the offense with two hits and an RBI. Greg Radwan took the hard luck loss despite tossing a complete game, scattering three hits and striking out eight.  

7-13 - Jeremy Cressley authored a complete game ten strikeout performance Monday at Ainsworth to lead Grice Builders past Sluggers Sports Bar 8-3. Cressley aided his own cause with an RBI double in the fourth. Joel Oesch and Nick Greer swung the lumber for the Builders with two RBIs each, and Oesch slammed a pair of doubles. Rich Hayes added a solo homer down the left field line in the sixth inning and that was more than enough for Cressley to hang on for the win. Eric Hansen slammed two hits for Sluggers and scored twice to lead the counter attack. The Builders surge to 7-10 on the season and are staring intently at the sixth and final playoff spot, while Sluggers falls to 9-7.

7-13 - Matt Palisin tossed five innings of five hit baseball to lead TESCO past the Rambler 9 Sunday at Ainsworth 11-2. Palisin was backed by an eleven hit TESCO attack, highlighted by Brian King's three RBIs, and Lee Rohan's three hit, two RBI perfomance. Terry Carson and Phil Sorenson accounted for both Rambler runs with solo blasts over the right field wall.

In a slew of unreported games: Harrington edged Buells Corners 3-2 with two outs in the seventh with Josh Dziomba scoring on a walk off wild pitch.  Sluggers Sports Bar was unable to field a team and suffered a forfiet to the Panthers, and in a double dip at Brabender Butera's Towing downed Iadeluca 5-0 & 12-2.

7-12 - Butera's Towing Edged The Panthers 3-1 Saturday Afternoon at Ainsworth behind Ricky Carlson's complete game five hitter. Carlson punched out five Panthers and was backed by Jordan Basile's two for three day at the plate with a run scored. Paul Kubeja also tossed a complete game, but saddled the tough loss.

In a continuation of an earlier suspended game, Buells Corners topped Sluggers 5-1 behind John Mang's and Ryan Schreiber's combined effort on the hill, scattering six hitts and fanning a trio of batters each. Mang and Schreiber also chipped in at the plate stroking RBIs in the three run Buell's third inning.

In the second game of the double header Sluggers returned the favor, downing Buells Corners 8-4. Matt Heslop tossed five and a third for the win, fanning seven Bulls. Justin Scarpetti stroked two safties and plated a pair of Sluggers to lead the Barmen's charge. John Mang knocked two singles and tossed six innings for Buells.

In an unreported game Grice clubbed Iadeluca 18-2.

7-9 - The Rambler 9 continued thier hot streak with a 6-2 victory over Buells Corners Thursday Night at Brabender. Rambler Tyler Fisher toed the rubber for a complete game win and punched out 5 batters while scattering eight hits. Joe Lauria, Jon Danielczyk, Matt Adamczyk and Tyler Antolik each plated runs in the four run Rambler second frame, and the was all Fisher needed to hang on for the win.

7-8 - The Panthers pounced on Harrington 11-0 at Ainsworth Wednesday and unleashed a fourteen hit attack to claim the third spot in the GBL standings. Matt Luthringer plated three runs and Doug Farley plated a pair, each with three safeties on the day. Panther starter Andy Wallen tossed all six innings for the complete game victory and scattered four hits with four punch outs.

Conner Connell tossed a complete game six hitter to lead Grice Builders past Iadeluca Wednesday at Brabender 9-3. Connell tossed seven frames and fanned three batters, and was backed with an eight hit, nine run offensive effort. The Builders end the day at 4-9 while Iadeluca falls to 1-12.

TESCO's Ray DeVaul dueled Buells Corner's Edwin Almonte Tuesday Evening at Ainsworth in a seven inning nail biter, with TESCO plating a lone run in the top of the seventh to edge Buells Corners 1-0. Lee Rohan slapped a single to center and advanced on Greg Radwan's sac bunt. Brandon Crum plated Rohan with a single to center. DeVaul punched out seven and scattered five hits, while Elmonte saddled the tough loss despite scattering five hits and fanning five TESCO batters.

7-6 - The Rambler 9 scored a big win Monday night 11-7 over Sluggers Sports Bar. Mark Pompeani flipped five innings and struck out six Sluggers to earn the win and Jon Danielczyk slammed a three run double in the fifth to lead the Rambler charge. Joe Lauria chipped in two RBI, and Jake Perez knocked three singles for the 9. Justin Scarpetti and Joe Frey each knocked two hits for Sluggers.

Harrington downed Iadelucca at Ainsworth Monday 9-5 behind Matt Gnacinski's two RBI performance at the plate. Brother Dave picked up the win in an inning an a third of relief and Kirk Reynolds put the Laundrymen ahead for good in the four run fifth framewith a solo long ball to right. Nick Jarazewski tossed the first four and a third before handing the ball to Dave Gnacinski, and Dan Henry tossed a complete game for Iadelucca.

7-4 - TESCO pounded out 16 hits to top Harrington 15-5 in a five inning contest Saturday morning at Ainsworth. Jon Roncolato tossed five innings for TESCO to earn the win, and fanned seven Laundrymen. Shaine Patsilevas delivered the big numbers on the day wiith three hits, including two doubles, and plated six runs. Lee Rohan joined Patsilevas with three hits. Matt Gnacinski slammed two safties, including a two bagger, to lead the Laundrymen counter-attack.

7-3 - Buells Corners topped Grice Builders 9-3 at Ainsworth Friday on the strength of a 12 hit attack paced by Hank Speerstra, Ford Eisenman, Ryan Schrieber, and John Mang with two hits each. Travis Butcher tossed a four inning, five strikeout performance to earn the win. Billy Boyd and Mark Tupek each plated a pair of runs for Buells.

Brian Collish slammed a single to center to plate Dave Bihler and lead The Panthers past TESCO 2-1 at Brabender Friday. Dave Korbel tossed a complete game, eight strikeout gem to earn the win. The Panthers pounced for seven hits and Mark Ladesic plated the first run with a sac fly to center field. Matt Palisin saddled the tough loss for TESCO.

7-1 - The Harrington Laundrymen scored a big win over first place Butera's Towing Thursday night at Ainsworth 6-4. J.B. Britton earned the victory on the hill with a four inning four strikeout performance, and at the plate with a three run homer in the fourth, ending the day with four RBIs. Dave Gnacinski also delivered for the Harrington attack with three safties. Mark Carlozzi relieved the final three innings and held Butera's to two runs to earn the save. Jon Messina led the Butera's offense by plating two runs and Ricky Carlson saddled the loss despite tossing six quality innings.

Sluggers Sports Bar blanked Iadeluca at Brabender 5-0 to move into a two way tie for second place in the GBL Standings. Josh Fyffe tossed five innings and fanned 11 batters for the victory and Justin Scarpetti slammed two RBI's and joined teammates Steve Miller and Harry Latta with a double. Jordan Hibbard  punched out nine Sluggers, but also issued 9 walks in six innings of work for the loss.

6-31 - Brian Suraf flipped a five inning no hitter at Brabender Wednesday to propell Buells Corners past Iadeluca 11-0. Suraf flirted with perfection, with a single walk and an error marking the only blemishes on his pristine scorecard. He also fanned 6 batters. John Mang and Hank Speerstra delivered the offensive spark with three RBIs each, and the Buell's offense churned out eight hits to back thier right handed starter. Buells ends the day at 7-4, and Iadeluca falls to 1-9.

6-30 - Greg Radwan led TESCO past Harrington 2-1 Tuesday Evening at Brabender Field. Radwan climbed the hill for a complete game four hitter, fanned seven Laundrymen and issued no free passes for the win. Ricky Hulsinger also tossed a complete game five hitter and the two runs he surrendered in the first inning are the only ones that crossed home plate. Hulsinger punched out five TESCO batters. Brian King stroked a sac fly in the first and John Fette followed with an RBI single up the middle to spearhead the TESCO attack. Don Massoud answered with an RBI double down the left field line for Harrington's lone tally.

6-29 - Sluggers Sports Bar pummeled Grice Builders Monday Night at Ainsworth 10-1 to move into a two way tie with TESCO for second place in the GBL Standings. Josh Fyffe and Steve Miller homered for the Barmen, and Harry Latta joined Fyffe with a trio of RBIs on the night.  Matt Heslop earned the victory with six innings of one run baseball while fanning seven Builders.

The Panthers ambushed the Rambler 9 at Brabender 7-1 behind Brian Coolish and Mark Ladesic's three hit barrage Monday Evening. Teammates Sam Barber and Brent Macko each plated a pair of runs for the Cats, and Andy Wallen toed the rubber for five shutout innings to earn the win. The Panthers end the day in sole possession of third place in the GBL Standings.

6-28 - Jeremy Cressley led Grice Builders past The Panthers Sunday at Ainsworth 4-2 with a complete game five hitter, allowing no free passes and de-clawing six Felines in seven innings of work. With the Panthers leading 1-0 in the sixth, Nick Greer and teammate Victor Ortiz each slammed two run singles to put the Builders ahead for good. Eric Kubeja was saddled with the tough loss despite tossing six innings and punching out six Builders.

In the Noon Game the Rambler 9 topped Iadeluca 6-3 highlighted by Tyler Fisher's bases clearing double in the Rambler second. Jake Perez held on to the lead for four innings and handed the ball to Mark Pompeani who saved the victory. Perez fanned four and earned the win, and Pompeani struck out a trio of Iadeluca Batters. Doug Gerould paced the Iadeluca counter-attack with an RBI double and teammates Jay Freed and Jordan Hibbard each stroked RBI singles, but the Ramblers answered with RBI strikes off the bats of Joe Lauria and Jeff Robson. Chris Wright fanned ten Ramblers in the complete game effort, but was  saddled with the loss.

Buells Corners led Sluggers 5-1 in the top of the fifth before the heavens opened and flooded Ainsworth. The contest will be continued at the point of interuption prior to their next meeting in July.

6-26 - Buells Corners edged Harrington Friday night at Ainsworth 5-4 in a nine inning thriller. Jeremy Kuhn crossed home plate on a walk off squeeze bunt and Ryan Schreiber paced the Buell's attack with a pair of doubles and two RBI's. Schreiber also earned the win in relief, punching out four in five innings of work. Dave Gnacinski led the Laundrymen charge with a triple and two RBI.

TESCO edged Butera's Towing in the first game of their Saturday double header at Ainsworth 6-4 in eight innings. With TESCO leading 4-2 in the bottom of the seventh frame, Jon Messina plated a pair of runs with a sinlge to right center to tie the game. With the winning run on his way home and one out TESCO's Eric Harpster threw out Messina at the plate and Ray DeVaul worked his way out of the jam with a tie score. TESCO scored two runs in the top of the eighth and DeVaul hung on for the win. Lee Rohan and Brian King each plated a pair of runs for TESCO.

In Game two Butera's returned the favor 7-5 behind Ricky Carlson's complete game performance. Matt LaPorte and Nick Lohr shearheaded the Butera's charge with two hits and an RBI each. LaPorte finished the day with five hits to lead all batters. Casey Philips, Nick Lohr, Mica Kellog, Jon Messina and LaPorte all stroked doubles for Butera's, and Brandon Crum led the TESCO counter attack with three hits. Butera's remains on top of the league standing at 10-2 with TESCO close behind in second place with a 7-3 mark.

6-25 - TESCO's Greg Radwan dueled Grice Builder's Connor Connell in a 3-2 nail biter at Brabender Thursday, and TESCO came from behind in the seventh to squeeze past the Builders. With the score tied 1-1 in the seventh Jeremy Cressley ripped an RBI double down the right field line to put the Builders on top. TESCO loaded the bases in the bottom frame with an error, a single and an intentional walk, and with two out John Fette stroked a walk off double to center. Chris Knouse and Gary Thomas had two hits each for Grice, and Fette joined Rawdan with two hits for TESCO. Radwan earned the win with eight punchouts, while Connell gutted out a complete game and scattered eight hits in the hard luck loss.

6-24 - Harrington erupted for a ten run, four homer attack to top Sluggers 10-5 Wednesday Evening at Ainsworth. Jon Dziomba mashed two homers and Dave Gnacinski and J.B. Britton each added homers to the Laundrymen attack. Dziomba and Gnacinski ended the day with three RBI each. Josh Fyffe led the Slugger counter-attack with a three run homer in the fifth inning, but J.B. Britton tossed two scoreless innings in relief to earn the save. Sluggers falls to third place with the setback, and Harrington ups their record to 4-5.

Buells Corners blanked Grice Builders 4-0 at Brabender behind Brian Suraf's six inning five hitter. Suraf fanned three Builders before handing the ball to Edwin Almonte for the scoreless seventh. Jim Travers and Ryan Schreiber each knocked a pair of safties to pace the Buells attack and Billy Colt pounded a two run double in the sixth. Buells ended the contest with a 5-4 mark, while Grice falls to 3-7.

6-23 - Butera's emerged victorious from the 22 hit slugfest Tuesday Evening at Brabender with the Rambler 9 by a score of 9 to 5. Jake Fosberg earned the win in relief of starter Mark Myott with two scoreless innings of work. Myott worked the first three and punched out three Ramblers, but was chased out of the game in the four run Rambler third highlighted by Keith Blazek and Jeff Robson's two RBI's each. Josh Melquist led the Butera's charge with a two run triple and was joined by Nick Lorher and Jon Messina who also plated a pair of runs each.

6-22 - Dave Koerbel led the Panthers past Buells Corners 5-1 Monday Night at Ainsworth by authoring a complete game four hitter. Koerbel punched out eleven Bulls in the complete game gem. Brian Colish and Eric Kubeja each stroked a pair of hits, and teamates Mark Ladesic and Doug Farley each plated a pair of Panthers. Buells Corners falls to 4-4 on the season, and The Panthers up thier mark to 6-3.

TESCO starter Ray DeVaul flipped a five hit complete game victory at Brabender Field to lead TESCO past Iadeluca 3-1 in a seven inning nail biter. DeVaul allowed a single run in the seventh and worked his way out of a bases loaded jam to escape with the victory. Iadeluca starter Jordan Hibbard also worked a complete game, scattered seven safties, and punched out seven batters in the tough luck loss. TESCO speedster John Fette scored two of the three runs while teamates Shaine Patsilevas and Brandon Crum each plated a run in the TESCO sixth.

6-21 - Butera's Towing defeated Buells Corners in the first game at Ainsworth Field Sunday morning 6-2 behind John Carlson's five inning three hit performance. Carlson punched out four Bulls and handed the ball to Dan Burns for the final two innings. Mica Kellog, Jon Messina, Josh Melquist, Matt LaPorte, Jordan Bardo and Tom Tantillo all joined the two hit club with LaPorte adding a double and Melquist a three bagger. Buells falls to 4-3 with the setback.

Sluggers Sports Bar ended Butera's undefeated season 4-2 in the second game of the day behind Ian Beezub's complete game four hitter. Brik Zivkovich and Joe Frey each plated a run for the victors, with Frey stroking a double. Josh Melquist and Mica Kellog continued swinging hot bats in the second game, each plating a run, to put Butera's on top 2-0 after the first inning. That was all Bezzub allowed and finished the game with six K's. Butera's remains in first place despite the blemish to their once perfect record, and Sluggers stand alone in second place.

In the Nightcap Grice Builders pounded the Ramblers 17-3. Jeremy Cressley led the way with a complete game with eight punchouts, while teamates Connor Connell slammed a three run homer, and Josh Lesik went 4-4 to pace the Builder's attack. 

6-19 - In a pair of unreported games the Panthers defeated Iadeluca and the Rambler 9.

6-18 - In a wild finish Thursday at Ainsworth, Grice edged Harrington 3-2 on a undefended stroll to home by Matt Lindenberger to end the game. Harrington led 2-0 going into the final frame before Grice packed the bases. Harrington Starter Bo Corbett fanned the next two batters, but Joel Oesch delivered a two run single to tie the contest. The Laundrymen catcher called time, but the plate umpire did not hear or grant it, and walked to the mound paving the way for Lindenberger's victory jog. Conner Connel and Jeremy Cressley combined to limit Harrington to a pair of hits, including Don Massouds RBI two bagger in the fourth. 6-16 - Matt Heslop tossed a complete game four hit shutout to lead Sluggers past Iadeluca Tuesday Night at Ainsworth. Heslop also punched out seven Iadeluca batters over seven innings work. Ian Beezub, Steve Miller, and Jake Spiker each plated a pair of runs to pace the eight hit Slugger surge, with Miller and Beezub each stroking run scoring doubles. With the win the Barmen retain second place in the regular season standings at 5-2, while Iadeluca falls to 1-6.

6-15 - Geoff Flowers singled in Kirk Reynolds in the seventh inning to edge the Rambler Nine 5-4 at Brabender Field Monday Night. The Ramblers held the lead through five hightlighted by Joe Lauria's second homer of the year, before Harrington evened the score in the bottom frame. Ricky Hulsinger earned the win with three scoreless innings of relief, and held the tie until the bottom of the seventh for Flower's game winner. The Laundrymen end the night with a 3-4 mark, while the Ramblers suffer another close loss and fall to 2-5.

6-13 - Butera's Towing downed Slugger's Sports Bar at Brabender Saturday 7-1 to remain undefeated. Mark Myott tossed five innings of three hit one run ball for the win and was relieved by Dan Burns who tossed the final two scoreless frames. With the score tied a run a peice Butera's exploded for six runs behind Nick Lohr's bases loaded two run single and then RBI's by Jordan Bardo, Matt LaPorte and Tom Tantillo. Joe Frey singled home the lone Sluggers run.

The Rambler 9 edged Grice Builders 2-1 behind Tyler DeCrapio's complete game four hitter Saturday at Brabender. DeCrapio fanned seven batters in his winning performance. Phil Sorenson swung the heavy lumber for the Ramblers, stroking a two run double in the first inning which proved the be the game winner. Gary Thomas knocked an RBI double in the fourth frame for Grice, and Connor Connel tossed a complete game four hitter for a hard fought loss.

6-12 - Buells Corners downed The Panthers 5-1 at Brabender Friday Night behind Travis Butcher's five inning four hitter. Butcher declawed seven Panthers before handing the ball to Edwin Almonte who fanned the last five out of six batters. Jeremy Kuhn and Billy Boyd led the Buells attack with a pair of hits each, and Almonte added an RBI double. Buells ends the day tied with TESCO for third place, and the Panthers take sole position of fourth place in the standings.

Matt Palisin led TESCO to a 6-0 shutout of Iadeluca, tossing six innings and punching chiropractors for the win. Brian King led the TESCO charge with a two run single in the first inning and Shaine Patsilevas added a pair of doubles.

6-11 - Butera's season remains perfect after shutting out the Harrington Laundrymen 6-0 at Brabender Park Thursday Evening. Ricky Carlson and Brian Gunnell flipped the lefty/righty combo at the Laundrymen and combined for a three hit shutout, fanning a total of seven batters. Carlson started and earned the win. Jordan Bardo, Josh Melquist and Mica Kellog plated a pair of runners each, with Bardo knocking a two bagger as well. Josh Dziomba accounted for two of the three Harrington safties as the Laundrymen fall to 2-4.

Sluggers Sports Bar edged the Panthers at Ainsworth 3-2 behind Joe Frey's complete game three hitter. Frey flipped seven innings and whiffed a trio of Panthers. Eric Hanson knocked in two runs with a fifth inning single to pace the Slugger's attack. The Barmen end the day in sole possession on second place with a 4-1 record, while the Jungle Cats fall into a three way tie for third place with a 3-2 mark.

6-10 - Grice Builders clawed their way into the win column with a 6-5 decision over Iadeluca Wednesday Evening at Ainsworth. The box score was unreported.

6-9 - Buells Corners edged The Rambler 9 3-2 Tuesday Evening at Ainsworth Park behind a combined effort of three Buell's hurlers. Brian Suraf earned the win with three scoreless innings and handed the ball to Wes Craig for two innings and finally to Travis Butcher for the final two frames and the save, punching out 5 Ramblers. Ryan Schreiber and Jim Travers both plated runs for the victors. Mark Pompeani saddled the tough loss with a complete game effort, scattering four hits and fanning three batters.

6-8 - TESCO edged Harrington Industrial Laundry 3-2 Monday night at Ainsworth in a battle of the league's longest running sponsors. Ray DeVaul earned the hard fought victory for TESCO by tossing a complete game six hitter, and allowing just two runs in seven innings of work. DeVaul punched out 6 Laundrymen. Fellow lefty Mark Carlozzi also flipped a complete game for Harrington and fanned five TESCO batters. Jon Roncolato started the TESCO third by scoring on a balk, and then John Fette struck a sacrifice fly to center field to plate Eric Harpster for the go-ahead run. Harpster led the TESCO charge with a pair of safties. Dave Gnacinski and Don Massoud plated Harrington's runs.

6-7 - Butera's Towing continued their undefeated season by blanking Iadeluca and The Panthers Sunday 13-0 and 5-0. Mica Kellog fronted the Butera's charge in the first game with three safties and three RBI, while teammates Nick Lohr and Jon Messina each plated a pair of runners. Right hander Ryan Lucas flipped a two hit shutout in the shortened five inning contest.  Mark Myott and Dan Burns joined forces on the hill to limit The Panters to a pair of hits in the second game. Jordan Basile led the charge with two hits, three swiped bases and three runs scored. Butera's ends the day at a perfect 5-0.

TESCO downed Grice Builders 10-0 behind Fred "Big Cat" Veith's pair of two run singles. The Cat pounded two surgical grade singles, eluding the mitts of several Grice defenders, to plate four runs and lead the TESCO attack. Matt Palisin earned the win on the hill scattering five hits over five innings and punching out five Builders. Grice falls to 0-5 while TESCO evens up to 2-2.

6-6 - Sluggers Sports Bar continued thier winning streak with a 10 - 4 decision over The Rambler 9 Saturady at Ainsworth. Ian Beezub earned the victory for Sluggers tossing six innings and punching out six Ramblers. Beezub also joined Chad Oberacker with two RBI to front the Slugger attack, which pounded out thirteen hits including Josh Fyffe's solo home run. Joe Lauria led the Rambler counter attack with a double and two RBI.

Buells Corners edged Harrington 2-1 in the middle game of the Ainsworth triple header. Ryan Schreiber tossed five innings and scattered four hits for the win before handing the ball over to Edwin Almonte who tossed the final two frames and fanned four of the six batters he faced. Billy Colt slammed two safties and scored the go ahead run in the seventh for Buells. Don Massoud accounted for the Laundrymen's talley with a second inning solo shot, his second of the year.

In the nightcap the Panthers blanked Grice Builders 6-0 in an unreported game.

6-5 - The Sluggers downed TESCO 4-1 Friday Evening at Ainsworth behind Cody Campbell's six innings of work, scattering six hits and allowing a sole run on Brian King's sac fly to deep right center field. Kirby Jones and Grant Smith each stroked RBI doubles and ended the day with a pair of safties each to pace the Slugger's attack. TESCO falls to 1-2 while the Sluggers up thier record to 2-1.

The Rambler 9 surged their way into the victory column by edging Iadeluca Chiropratric 3-1 at Brabender. Marc Pompiani earned the victory on the bump by flipping six innings of four hit baseball, and allowing a single run in the third off Jason Freed's RBI single. Tyler Fisher and Terry Carson each slammed RBI doubles to lead the Rambler surge and Jacob Perez crossed home plate twice.

6-4 - Harrington erupted for sixteen hits in a 15-6 slugfest with Grice Builders at the Bender. Dave and Matt Gnacinski led the Laundrymen with three and two RBI respecively, and Nick Jarazewski, Bo Corbett and Ricky Hulsinger shared the duties on the hill, with Jarazewski earning the win. Geoff Flowers, Matt Gancinski and Alex Merkey each stroked two baggers for the Harrington attack. The Laundrymen end the day at 2-1, while Grice Builders are still looking for thier first win at 0-3.

At Ainsworth Butera's Towing blanked Buells Corners 3-0 behind Brian Gunnell's complete game two hit gem. Gunnell fanned ten Bulls to lead his team to their third win of the season. Bret McClacker led the Butera's offense with a double in the two run third inning. John Mang was saddled with the loss, and Brian Suraf flipped three scoreless innings of relief for Buells and racked up six punchouts.

6-3 - The Panthers blanked Iadeluca Chiropratric 3-0 Wednesday Evening behind Chris Hyde's complete game four hitter. Hyde fanned six chiroprators and walked a lone batter in seven innings of work. Dave Bihler and Sam Barber spearheaded the Panther attack with RBI base knocks in the three run sixth inning. Chris Wright was saddled with the tough loss despite tossing a complete game and punching out seven Panthers. The jungle cats move into a tie with Butera's towing for the top spot in the early standings with a 2-0 record, while Iadeluca ends the day at 1-1.

6-2 - TESCO earned its first win of the season by blanking the Rambler 9 nine to zero. Brian King paced the TESCO attack with three hits and three RBI, while teammates Lee Rohan, Greg Radwan and John Fette chipped in two hits each. Matt Palisin tossed four innings and punched out five batters for the win, and reliever Ray DeVaul tossed three scoreless. Matt Adamczyk led the Rambler offense with two safties. TESCO evens up at 1-1, and the Ramblers fall to 0-2 on the young season.

6-1 - While the thunderstorms raged in the distance Harrington Industrial Laundry erupted for six runs in the final two frames to edge Sluggers Sports Bar 6-5 in the lone Monday game at Ainsworth. Down by five runs Jon Dziomba highlighted the uprising with a three run blast denting the Roosevelt School Roof. Don Massoud added a solo shot and Joe Gnacinski earned the win with two innings of relief allowing a single run. Dave Gnacinski drove home the winning run with a walk off single in the seventh. Ian Beezub absorbed the tough loss despite six innings of work on the hill. Both Sluggers and the Laundrymen even their records at 1-1.

5-31 - Butera's Towing stormed into town Saturday and swept the first two games of the Ainsworth triple header in convincing fashion. In the first game Butera's downed the Rambler 9 11-3 behind Rickey Carlson's complete game three hitter. Jon Messina led the charge with three RBI and Mica Kellog plated a pair to pace the Butera's charge. Joe Lauria stroked a two run homer in the sixth to lead the Rambler counter offensive.

In the second game Butera's clubbed Grice Builders 10-1 with Ryan Lucas earning the victory on the hill. Josh Melquist slammed a double and plated a pair to lead the victors. Butera's ends the day in first place with a 2-0 record while Grice falls to 0-2.

In the final game Iadeluca edged Buells Corners 4-3 behind Jordan Hibbard and Dan Henry's combined gem on the bump. Hibbard earned the win, tossing six and fanning eight Bulls, and Henry Saved the game with a scoreless final frame. Ricky Fresch and Doug Gerould brough the lumber to Ainsworth Saturday, each chipping in three safties and Gerould plating a pair of runners. Buells evens thier record to 1-1 with the loss.

5-30 - Steve Swavey led the Panthers past Harrington Saturday Afternoon at Ainsworth 2-0 by authoring a one hit, eleven punch out complete game as well as knocking in a run by sacrificing his body with a bases loaded hit by pitch. Chris Hyde added the second run with a RBI single in the fifth, and teammate Bryan Colish added a double to the Panther attack. Matt Gnacinski was the sole laundryman to get a hit.

5-29-2010 - Slugger's Sports Bar made thier Glenwood debut with a 8-1 victory over Grice Builders. Slugger's righthander Cody Campbell authored a two hit complete game performance, while fanning seven Builders and allowing a lone run. Steve Miller and Josh Fyffe each plated a pair of Sluggers, with Miller slamming a double and a triple and Geoff Lang highlighted the five run sixth inning with an RBI three bagger. The Frey brothers, Joe and J.P., chipped in a double and an RBI each to the Slugger attack. Jassiel Rivera knocked home Grice Builders lone talley.

5-28-2010 - Buells Corners downed TESCO 11-4 at Brabender Field Thursday Evening to start up the 2010 Glenwood Season. Ford Eisenman sparked the Buell's attack with trio of hits, runs and swiped bases, and added two RBI. Buell's catcher Hank Speerstra highlighted the Bulls five run third inning with a two run double to left and Eisenman plated the final two runs with a seventh inning double to right.

John Mang notched the win tossing four innings and scattering four hits, while fanning five TESCO batters. Edwin Almonte tossed the final three frames, fanning four and allowing a single run. Action continues this evening at Brabender with Sluggers Sports Bar hosting Grice Construction at 6:00.

5-26-2010 - The Glenwood Season opens tomorrow at Brabender Field with defending League Champion TESCO hosting Buells Corners at 6:00, and action continues Friday with Grice Builders visiting Sluggers Sports Bar at 6:00 Brabender. 5-7-2010 - Today's deadline marks the start of the 2010 season and nine teams will compete in this year's field. In addition to the annual sponsorship Iadeluca Chiropractic has scheduled a Glenwood League Clinic on Saturday May 29th from 3-5 pm featuring presentations from one of the staff doctors, a massage therapist and a member of the Seawolves training staff to cover injury prevention, warm-ups and maintaining performance through the long season. The session is free of charge and refreshments will be served. This is a great oppurtunity for all of us and please let coach Jay Freed know if you are planning to attend. 2-12-2012 - The 2nd Annual Graden Vincent Smith Memorial Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Saturday August 14th with a Shotgun Start scheduled for 8:00 and 2:00 at Whispering Woods. There will be no Glenwood Playoff games scheduled that day so that all GBL players are free to attend.
