Please remember to bring your keys to the field! The smaller key unlocks/locks the Ainsworth padlock. When you arrive, open the door and secure the chain to the inner fence and relock the padlock. The larger key unlocks/locks the bathrooms. The first home team to arrive at Ainsworth unlocks both the men's and ladie's restrooms, and the last home team coach is responsible for locking the doors after everyone has left and the bases are returned. The larger key also opens the umpires room where several supplies are kept (Brabender Bases, manual field drag, spare baseballs, diamond dry, etc...)
Please remember to put away bases! The Glenwood bases are etched on the metal underneath with "Glenwood Baseball League" and are to be returned to the umpire's room or men's room at Ainsworth after the final game at Brabender. The Ainsworth bases are stored in the men's room as well.
Home team coaches are responsible to provide three new league baseballs (Diamond DOL-A) as well as two slightly used baseballs to the home plate umpire prior to the game. The home team is also responsible for retrieving balls that leave the playing field. If the baseball supply runs low during the game the home team will have to provide replacements. In order to accomodate ball retreival the home team should take the third base dugout at Ainsworth or the first base dugout at Brabender.
