The Jamestown team is comprised of many former Jamestown Community College and current Fredonia State Players.

The catchers this season will be 2007 All-Glenwood and All-Star selection John Paperski and Mike (popeye) Ross. Paperski holds 5 all-time records at JCC, hits the ball consistently and has a strong arm. Ross is a scrappy defensive catcher, a good bunter, and runs very well for a catcher.

The infield will consist of Josh Melquist at first base, Jordan Bardo at second, Brockport State's Matt Raines at short and Matt LaPorte at third. Melquist is the all-time hits leader at Jamestown High School and has just completed a very successful first season at JCC. Very good contact hitters Bardo and Raines shore up the middle. Bardo is seventh on the JCC all-time hit list and Raines has good power and fine range. La Porte is a very versatile player with good power.

The outfield consists of John McCune, Jordan Basile , Eric Stevens. All are very good defensively.

The pitching staff will be 8 or 9 hurlers deep with all the pitchers having experience at the college level.

We are looking forward to playing in the league again in 2008 and imporoving on our 2nd place regular season and post season finish.
